Neuro Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider

As our Neuro Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant you will join our well-established hospital-employed group at CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga TN. Every day you will focus on delivering quality direct patient care to neurology patients working closely with physicians and other team member. You will apply your specialized skills to provide critical support ensuring patient safety and efficiency for neurology procedures. This role follows a 7 on / 7 off schedule with varied day and night shifts supporting comprehensive patient management.

To be successful in this role you will be a Neuro Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for delivering compassionate high-quality care to neurological inpatients.

• Diagnosing treating prescribing and managing discharge planning for neurological inpatients.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests relevant to neurological conditions.
• Collaborating effectively with neurosurgeons neurologists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated patient care.
• Providing comprehensive patient education on neurological conditions treatment plans and recovery processes.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records ensuring thorough documentation of all patient encounters.
• Adhering to all hospital policies procedures and patient safety protocols.

• Masters degree in nursing or Physician Assistant certificate.
• Licensed as an NP/RN or PA in the state of TN/GA
• American Heart Association BLS

Preferred

• 1-3 years previous experience as a NP/PA in an acute or primary care setting or equivalent RN experience.
