This is an on-site position with one of Arctiqs clients in Las Vegas NV.



Position Overview:

The Network Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation administration and continuous improvement of the enterprise network infrastructure. This role leads the Network Engineering team in delivering secure highly available and resilient networking services across the organizations campus and data center environments. Working closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams the manager oversees project execution operational excellence lifecycle management and technical standards while ensuring reliable network services that support business-critical operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operation administration and support of the enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Lead mentor and develop the Network Engineering team through coaching workload management and performance evaluations.
  • Execute network infrastructure projects approved by IT leadership including upgrades refreshes and expansions.
  • Maintain highly available campus data center WAN Internet wireless and optical network connectivity.
  • Oversee Cisco networking technologies including Catalyst Nexus ACI DNA Center ISE Firepower and Ciena transport infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership during complex incident response and problem resolution.
  • Develop and maintain network standards documentation diagrams and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate maintenance windows change management firmware upgrades and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with System Engineering Security and Application teams to support business initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and gaming regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications Includes but is not limited to:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
  • 8 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
  • 3 years leading technical teams.
  • CCNP Enterprise or equivalent experience required.
  • CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure Cisco ACI Cisco ISE or Ciena certifications preferred
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP routing switching VLANs BGP OSPF EIGRP QoS multicast VPN and wireless networking.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco Catalyst Nexus ACI Cisco ISE Cisco DNA Center Firepower Management Center (FMC) and Ciena technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise WAN Internet and data center networking.
  • Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work after hours during maintenance windows and critical incidents.
  • Experience with enterprise data center networking software-defined networking (SDN) routing switching wireless and network security technologies.
  • Experience planning and executing network infrastructure upgrades migrations and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Experience managing enterprise network environments supporting 24x7 business operations across multiple data centers.
  • Experience with network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds.
  • Experience supporting PCI-DSS gaming regulatory or other highly regulated environments.
  • Previous experience working in a large-scale hospitality or entertainment environment.
