Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Network Engineer Level 4 on behalf of our client in Woodlawn MD. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level network engineering professional to support and modernize a large-scale enterprise network environment spanning multiple locations nationwide. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise networking wireless technologies network access control (NAC) cloud connectivity and advanced Cisco infrastructure solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership hands-on engineering capabilities and experience supporting complex mission-critical network environments.
Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise wireless network deployment and modernization initiatives across multiple locations.

Design implement and maintain Network Admission Control (NAC) solutions for secure wireless and remote access.

Plan configure deploy and support enterprise network infrastructure.

Conduct site surveys and assess network requirements for implementation projects.

Analyze existing network environments and recommend performance security and scalability improvements.

Support LAN WAN WLAN VPN and network access control technologies.
-
Develop and maintain network standards diagrams procedures and technical documentation.
-
Coordinate infrastructure deployments and manage implementation activities.
-
Evaluate test and recommend emerging networking technologies and solutions.
-
Provide advanced troubleshooting and third-level network support.
-
Ensure network reliability availability and operational performance.
-
Deliver project status updates and technical guidance to stakeholders.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across project teams.

Participate in scheduled after-hours maintenance and support activities as needed.
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Engineering or a related field with 7 years of relevant experience; OR

Masters degree with 5 years of relevant experience; OR
-
Equivalent combination of education and extensive professional experience.

Expert-level networking certification such as CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure Routing & Switching Wireless Security or Data Center) or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of network engineering experience supporting large enterprise environments.

Experience supporting complex enterprise networks with thousands of network devices and endpoints.

Minimum 3 years of AWS network connectivity experience within enterprise environments.

Strong expertise in enterprise routing and switching technologies.
-
Experience with wireless network design deployment and support.
-
Experience implementing and supporting Network Admission Control (NAC) technologies.

Experience configuring and supporting Cisco IOS environments.
-
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Woodlawn MD.
Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience with WAN technologies including MPLS DMVPN and other enterprise connectivity solutions.

Strong LAN experience including Ethernet wireless networking and enterprise infrastructure hardware.

Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and wired/wireless access control solutions.

Experience with cloud networking and secure connectivity architectures.

Industry certifications such as CISSP PCNSE ITIL or related credentials.

Experience gathering technical requirements and developing implementation strategies.

Strong documentation project planning and implementation experience.
-
Proven ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.

Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
