Looking for the candidates who can work without any visa sponsorship.
Orientation will be two weeks on-site at F&B HQ before selected candidate is eligible for telework. If approved schedule will be up to 3 days remote 2 days on-site
Position Description:
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is seeking a Network Engineer 2 to assist network and security team with network security server maintenanceand support for local area networks metropolitan area networks and private cloud environment.
Onsite work will be located at the agencys Harrisburg Headquarters: 1601 Elmerton Ave Harrisburg PA. 17710
The successful applicant must be capable of meeting or exceeding challenging deadlines while performing daily duties that will include:
- Build maintain and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers.
- Ensure current patch level maintained on servers.
- Assists in investigation and mitigation of security incidents.
- Configure maintain and troubleshoot physical(Cisco) and distributed virtual switches (VMware).
- Configure maintain and troubleshoot routers(Cradlepoint).
- Monitors the teams open backlog of support issues.
- Work towards departmental and project deadlines.
- Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.

Work Hours:
40 hour week - 7:30 16:00 or 08:00 16:30
Telework:
Available after 2nd week at the discretion of the Agency. 2 days per week required on site if approved.
