Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer for an organization located in the Greater Sacramento area! Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Oversee the installation maintenance monitoring and modification of local networks; provide guidance to other employees.
• Assess and recommend hardware software and data communication equipment for optimal network performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions align with business requirements.
• Proactively identify and resolve network issues to minimize disruptions and improve the customer experience.
• Develop network plans policies and standards; ensure adherence to security procedures.
• Provide end-user support including problem diagnosis resolution and training.
• Design configure install and maintain network hardware software and data communication systems.
• Develop test implement and enforce policies for network hardware/software acquisition usage support and security.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of technical principles practices and company procedures.
• Expertise in Aruba DNS DHCP Active Directory and server hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with networking monitoring systems firewalls and micro-segmentation technologies.
• Proficient with VPN LAN/WAN routers/switches wireless technologies and VOIP.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $48 to $53 hourly depending on experience.
