Network Engineer

Description:
Responsibilities:

• Lead network architecture design testing and implementation for a large complex high profile event-based network.
• Work across a large team of implementation and deployment engineers to ensure that designs are accurate documented properly and fully tested prior to deployment.
• Work as part of the network operations center following deployment during key events to manage tickets escalations and changes.
• Work with project managers and project leadership to communicate status and updates in an accurate and timely manner.
• Coordinate with other technology towers for testing and deployment including teams focused on security Client DHCP Network Monitoring and field ops.

• Expert knowledge of Cisco route/switch() for both core and access devices including BGP VRF design VLAN design QoS etc.
• Working knowledge of Palo Alto Firewall networking capabilities and design criteria.
• Working knowledge of Multicast DDoS products and configurations Client and DNS/DHCP.
• Working knowledge of deploying within AWS and AZURE cloud environments.
• Expert collaboration and communication skills working well in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain accurate detailed network documentation.
• Ability to travel primarily to east coast locations (25% - 50%).

• Prior experience in event-based networks.

• Certifications from Cisco including CCIEs would be preferred. Cloud or Palo Alto certifications would be good.
