Network Administrator Intermediate Top Secret Clearance

This role supports our Navy customer in Lexington Park MD.

Job Description and Responsibilities:Install configure and maintain an organizations local area network (LAN) data communications network operating systems and physical and virtual servers. Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware network and server resources and systems. Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in analysis planning and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

Basic Requirements:3 years of relevant experience. Minimum of Security certification and OS cert. Windows Server/Domain Controller experience andLinux experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience:Scripting experience ACAS knowledge familiarity with STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides).

Strongly desire:
- Experience supporting enterprise/standalone Linux Red Hat-based/Windows mixed environments which includes full lifecycle management: (deployment/integration/configuration management/patching & maintenance and system tuning)
- Possesses good communication/documentation skills
- Strong analytical/troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a multiple fast-paced environments
- A self-starter with ability to work efficiently collaborate in a team environment and/or independently
- Experience using Ansible and automation products

Nice to have:

- Experience in vulnerability management/system hardening/DISA STIG implementation
- Understanding of Windows enterprise environment including Group Policy (GPO) management/implementation
- Experience with Network Switching/Routing (Cisco)
- Experience with using/implementing/maintaining virtualization products (VMWare) containers and other COTS solutions
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and Linux operating systems
- Experience with systems integration
- Experience/knowledge using scripting languages (BASH/Python)

Education Requirements: Bachelors preferred.

Security Clearance:Top Secret or above (must be a US Citizen). Candidates with a Secret clearance may be considered.

Telework and Travel: On-site work.

Contract: This position is supporting an active funded contract.
