Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently recruiting for a Network Communications Designer 2 or 3 level to join our team at our Bacchus facility located in Magna Utah.

Job Summary including Duties and Responsibilities:

Network communications design including interior and exterior ethernet and copper/fiber optic systems.
Field investigation and documentation of existing network communications systems.
AutoCAD drafting and design of existing and new network communications systems.
Material take-offs prepare requisitions to order project materials
Work with maintenance craftsmen and contractors to get the projects constructed. Resolve field problems troubleshooting.
AutoCAD drafting and design of low voltage systems including fire SCADA access control camera process control
Work as part of a multi-disciplined project team
Oversee installation and startup of newly designed systems with both internal craft & outside contractors.
Oversee projects from concept to completion.
The ability to develop drawing packages using AutoCAD.
Provide detailed cost estimates for project design and implementation.
Project management with supervision over all aspects of a project including crafts contractors and overseeing budget and schedule.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80 or 4/10. The 9/80 schedule allow employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. The 4/10 schedule allows employees to work a ten-hour day Monday through Thursday.
