Scope of Project:

The project involves the design implementation administration monitoring and optimization of the organizations enterprise network infrastructure including LAN WAN VPN and wireless networks. The resource will be responsible for ensuring network reliability security performance scalability and availability through proactive monitoring troubleshooting capacity planning and architecture improvements. Responsibilities include maintaining network documentation analyzing network traffic and usage trends supporting disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives implementing redundancy and failover solutions resolving complex network issues collaborating with cross-functional IT teams recommending technology enhancements and preparing reports on network health incidents and performance metrics to support operational and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

Plan design and configure LAN WAN VPN and wireless networks.
Ensure network architecture meets organizational security and performance requirements.
Monitor network performance using tools and dashboards.
Maintain network documentation (topology diagrams IP address schemes configurations).
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues. Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for escalated network problems.
Collaborate with helpdesk and system administrators for cross-functional issues. Analyze network traffic and usage trends.
Recommend upgrades or changes to improve performance and scalability.
Plan for future growth and emerging technologies.
Develop and maintain network disaster recovery plans.
Ensure redundancy and failover mechanisms are in place.
Maintain accurate records of network configurations and changes.
Prepare reports on network health incidents and performance metrics.

Required/Preferred Skills:

Minimum 7 years of experience planning designing configuring and supporting LAN WAN VPN and wireless network infrastructures.
Minimum 7 years of experience ensuring network architecture meets organizational security availability scalability and performance requirements.
Minimum 7 years of experience maintaining comprehensive network documentation including topology diagrams configuration standards procedures and operational documentation.
Minimum 7 years of experience monitoring analyzing and troubleshooting network traffic bandwidth utilization and usage trends to optimize network performance.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud networking technologies in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
Minimum 7 years of experience preparing and presenting reports on network health incident trends capacity planning uptime and performance metrics.
Strong experience managing and supporting server infrastructure including Windows and/or Linux servers virtualization platforms storage systems and related enterprise technologies.
Experience with network security technologies including firewalls IDS/IPS network segmentation access controls and VPN solutions.
Proficiency with network monitoring diagnostics and performance management tools.
Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and root cause analysis skills in enterprise network environments.
