About the Role:
Seeking a Network and Cybersecurity Lead to support the design modernization and security of critical transportation infrastructure environments. This role will be responsible for defining current and future-state network architectures cybersecurity strategies and technology roadmaps supporting Regional Traffic Management Centers (TMCs) the Statewide Transportation Information Coordination Center (STICC) Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Operational Technology (OT) and enterprise business environments.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network architecture routing cybersecurity design vulnerability management network segmentation and critical infrastructure protection.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in Network Architecture Engineering and Design
• Cybersecurity Architecture and Security Engineering expertise
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP Routing Switching VLANs WAN Connectivity and High Availability Design
• Experience with OSPF BGP and EIGRP routing protocols
• Network Segmentation and Zero Trust Architecture
• Firewall VPN IDS/IPS and Secure Remote Access Solutions
• Vulnerability Assessments and Remediation Planning
• Security Architecture Reviews and Risk Analysis
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Platforms
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Integration
• Network Access Control (NAC) Solutions
• DNS Security and Infrastructure Security Controls
• Architecture Documentation and Technical Design Standards
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
