Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Administrator Associate to support the design maintenance and optimization of the organizations network infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals early in their networking career who are looking to grow their expertise in a dynamic remote environment. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring network reliability security and performance while providing technical support to users and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation configuration and maintenance of network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Support LAN/WAN environments VPNs firewalls and wireless networks
- Perform routine system checks updates and backups
- Help manage user access permissions and network security protocols
- Document network configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps
- Respond to network-related support tickets and escalate complex issues when necessary
- Assist in implementing network security measures and compliance standards
- Support cloud networking environments and hybrid infrastructure
- Collaborate with senior network administrators and IT teams on projects
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Network Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 13 years of experience in networking IT support or system administration
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP routing switching)
- Familiarity with network devices such as routers switches and firewalls
- Experience with network monitoring tools is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS Azure or similar) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network Cisco CCNA (Associate) or equivalent are preferred
