Job Description & Skill Requirement:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to lead the design development and support of tooling and test software solutions for IoT device manufacturing lines. This role focuses on building scalable unified end-of-line (EOL) test platforms replacing legacy systems and enabling efficient high-throughput production environments.
- You will work at the intersection of software engineering industrial automation and manufacturing systems developing robust applications that interface with hardware devices PLCs and enterprise systems.
- Lead the design and development of a unified End-Of-Line (EOL) testing platform across multiple product lines replacing legacy applications.
- Re-architect existing software solutions resulting in significant improvements in productivity (20%).
- Develop modular and reusable components to support diverse hardware devices including:
- Scanners Printers DMMs Voltage/Current meters etc.
- Design and implement flexible frameworks supporting multiple communication protocols:
- OPC UA Modbus (RTU/TCP) Serial (RS232/RS485)
- Design build and consume RESTful APIs using Core Web API.
- Implement microservices-based architecture where applicable.
- Integrate with centralized databases (MS SQL) using Entity Framework Core.
- Enable seamless data exchange between production systems and enterprise platforms.
