NDT Level II 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Level Two Magnetic Particle (MT) or Liquid Penetrant (PT): Working with minimal supervision Level Two NDT Technicians are able to setup and execute full NDT inspection processes which includes equipment checks and basic maintenance and performing full NDT inspection tasks. Level Two NDT Technicians will be certified internally and externally and will demonstrate the ability to identify and disposition non-conforming product and begin the NCR process (Non-Conforming Report).
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Correctly interpret work orders
- Perform NDT Level 2 tasks as defined in NAS410- 5.1.4 (FPI & MPI)
- Work in a team environment i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- The ability to read and write English.
- The ability to perform basic shop math including fractions and decimals
- The ability to use basic inspection tools such micrometers calipers comparators
- The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - basic computer skills
- The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions
- The ability to acquire Level 1 NDT certification (FPI & MPI)
Experience & Education
- Level 1 NDT Certification Required
- Typically 2-3 Years of recent and relevant work experience
- High School diploma or GED is expected
