Native English Teacher (Science & STEM Background)

Nao Now is seeking enthusiastic and engaging Online English Teachers with a background in Science STEM or related fields to deliver 1-on-1 virtual English lessons to students ages 512.

This is a fully remote part-time independent contractor role. Teachers lead structured 25-minute English lessons using our pre-built interactive curriculum. No lesson planning is requiredyour role is to bring energy clarity and encouragement to each session while helping students build confidence in spoken English.

Were looking for educators who can communicate clearly simplify complex ideas and create engaging learning experiences for young learners. A science or STEM background is highly valued as many of our students enjoy exploring a wide range of academic topics while developing their English skills.

• Teach 25-minute 1-on-1 English lessons to children ages 512
• Deliver structured curriculum using provided lesson materials
• Create an engaging and supportive learning environment
• Encourage students to build confidence in speaking English
• Provide clear and constructive lesson feedback
• Maintain a professional and energetic on-camera presence
• Maintain consistent weekly availability
• Uphold professional communication standards

• Minimum of 10 hours per week during peak KST hours (5:30 PM 10:00 PM KST Monday to Friday)
• Minimum 3-month commitment
• Consistent weekly schedule required

• Starting at $20.00 USD per hour
• Paid per completed 25-minute lesson
• Compensation based on experience qualifications and evaluation performance
• All curriculum provided (no unpaid lesson preparation required)
• Training and onboarding are unpaid

• Native English speaker
• Bachelors degree or proof of enrollment in a bachelors program
• Degree or academic background in Science Biology Chemistry Physics Environmental Science Engineering Mathematics STEM/STEAM or another related field
• Experience working with children ages 512
• Strong communication skills and an engaging on-camera presence
• Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 60 Mbps)
• Quiet and professional teaching environment
• Headset (noise-cancelling preferred)

• Teaching or tutoring experience
• Experience working with children
• Online instruction experience
• STEM education research or science communication experience
• Youth coaching or mentoring
• Public speaking or presentation experience

• Wired ethernet connection required
• Stable internet (minimum 60 Mbps)
• Computer less than five years old recommended
• Professional distraction-free workspace
