Join Hitachi Energy Transformers as a Regional Electrical Safety Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping a strong proactive safety culture across North this high-impact position you will act as the subject matter expert for electrical safety partnering with diverse teams to ensure best-in-class standards and practices are embedded across all transformer manufacturing sites.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

How youll make an impact

  • Lead deployment of electrical safety strategy across the NAM Transformers organization

  • Support sites in executing standardized safety programs and initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulations (NFPA OSHA/CSA IEC)

  • Act as SME in audits incident reviews and risk assessments

  • Provide guidance on LOTO arc flash PPE and energized work practices

  • Train and mentor HSE teams leaders and technical staff

  • Analyze safety data identify trends and prioritize improvements

  • Collaborate on capital projects to embed safety from design to commissioning

Your background

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • 5 years of experience in electrical or industrial safety roles

  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E NEC OSHA/CSA UL and IEC standards

  • Proven ability to influence in a matrixed organization

  • Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America
