MONROE-WOODBURY MENTOR PROGRAM

Monroe-Woodbury Central School District iscommitted to academic achievement and success for all students in a safe partnership with families and our community the districts mission is to promote confidence inspire a passion for learning and to prepare students to become responsible global citizens.

This is a 10 month stipend position appointed yearly. There is one building coordinator in each building who oversees the professional Mentor program in his/her building and facilitates communications with the Building Administration and between Mentor and Intern and with the Program Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a tenured Teacher or Teaching Assistant in the district

3 years in District or minimum of 5 years of teaching in the curricular area

Demonstrated knowledge and application of solid pedagogy

Must have excellent interpersonal skills and have ability for objective analysis
