Position Overview
- First dedicated U.S.-based MVA Paralegal
- Opportunity to help build the MVA practice from the ground up
- Responsible for managing cases from intake through settlement preparation
- High-autonomy role in a lean performance-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities
- Handle MVA case files end-to-end
- Communicate with clients medical providers insurance adjusters and opposing counsel
- Obtain organize and review:
- Medical records
- Police reports
- Supporting case documentation
- Partner with attorneys to move cases toward settlement
- Coordinate with intake team for smooth onboarding
- Manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy and follow-through
Required Experience
- 5 years as a paralegal in a U.S.-based personal injury law firm
- 3 years of direct MVA case experience from intake through settlement
- Proven ability to independently manage full case files
- Experience in a high-volume personal injury environment
Required Skills
- Medical records retrieval organization and review
- Communication with:
- Insurance adjusters
- Medical providers
- Opposing counsel staff
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls
- Familiarity with legal technology and remote collaboration tools (especially Slack)
Education
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent accredited training/experience
