Position Overview
  • First dedicated U.S.-based MVA Paralegal
  • Opportunity to help build the MVA practice from the ground up
  • Responsible for managing cases from intake through settlement preparation
  • High-autonomy role in a lean performance-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle MVA case files end-to-end
  • Communicate with clients medical providers insurance adjusters and opposing counsel
  • Obtain organize and review:
    • Medical records
    • Police reports
    • Supporting case documentation
  • Partner with attorneys to move cases toward settlement
  • Coordinate with intake team for smooth onboarding
  • Manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy and follow-through
Required Experience
  • 5 years as a paralegal in a U.S.-based personal injury law firm
  • 3 years of direct MVA case experience from intake through settlement
  • Proven ability to independently manage full case files
  • Experience in a high-volume personal injury environment
Required Skills
  • Medical records retrieval organization and review
  • Communication with:
    • Insurance adjusters
    • Medical providers
    • Opposing counsel staff
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls
  • Familiarity with legal technology and remote collaboration tools (especially Slack)
Education
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent accredited training/experience
