Responsibilities

Facilitate structured dementia respite groups
Facilitate a dementia-friendly community choir
Provide music therapy to all structured programs
Develop implement and maintain materials and content for all group programs both musical and non-musical in nature
Screen prospective clients for admission to programs
Conduct assessments of prospective clients for admission to programs
Provide and maintain supportive and educational resources for caregivers
Provide direct guidance and training to volunteers when interacting with clients
Provide direct guidance and training to CNAs when interacting with clients
Maintain up-to-date client information
Maintain client notes within the guidelines of best practices
Use clinical skills to redirect or de-escalate clients when needed
Assist in facilitating educational seminars and trainings

What makes you a great fit

You hold a BMT credential and are fully certified or willing to become certified
You have at least 2 years of experience working with adults in a clinical setting
Youre comfortable leading group programs independently

You have strong verbal and written communication skills

Base salary: $50000 $60000
