Location: New York NY This is a fully on-site opportunity Monday through Friday designed for attorneys who enjoy collaborating with their team in the office.

Note: Active admission to practice law in New York and 4 years of directly relevant litigation experience are must-have qualifications. Experience handling New York municipal claims and personal injury matters is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Lead and manage a caseload of complex New York personal injury and municipal claim matters from inception through resolution or verdict.
• Develop case strategies designed to maximize outcomes for clients.
• Conduct depositions motion practice court appearances mediations and trials.
• Analyze claims evidence liability damages and litigation strategy throughout each matter.
• Communicate effectively with clients experts opposing counsel courts and other case stakeholders.
• Collaborate with attorneys paralegals and support staff to move cases efficiently and strategically.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff while contributing to a high-performing litigation team.
• Help drive departmental initiatives operational improvements and continued practice growth.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active New York Bar admission in good standing.
• 4 years of litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of New York personal injury law and litigation procedure.
• Experience with depositions motion practice court appearances mediations and trial preparation.
• Excellent written oral advocacy analytical and case-management skills.
• Ability to manage a substantial caseload and competing priorities.
• New York municipal claims experience strongly preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience is a plus.
