Job Summary
description:
Responsible for the operation x-ray and computed tomography equipment. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least two modalities on a regular basis. This position is represented by department performs general diagnostic radiology procedures (does not include interventional procedures such as arteriograms angiograms etc). Procedures may include but are not limited to: X-rays fluoroscopy and mammography (only include mammography if you do not have a separate Mammography department being tracked in 735001 or other specific mammography department). This department is also responsible for the pre-procedure and post-procedure care.

Day Shift M-Th 1000 - 2030 Must be able to do x-ray and CT Siemens CT scanner experience required. State of CA Fluoro permit and Work Experience:Associates Degree in radiologic technology: RequiredBachelors Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelors): PreferredMasters Degree: PreferredThree years technical experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredRadiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: RequiredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: RequiredMust be certified in two additional advanced modalities Computed Tomography(CT) Mammography(M) Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) or Sonography(S): PreferredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
