Compensation: $30.00 $35.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift MondayFriday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

At 6:00 AM you power up a HAAS mill load a fresh program and watch the first chips fly. By midmorning youve dialed in offsets on an Okuma lathe verified tolerances with precision instruments and adjusted a toolpath to shave seconds off cycle time. After lunch a Laguna router hums through composite stock while you doublecheck a customer print confirm finish specs and log inspection data. You end the day with routine maintenance and a quick handoff that keeps tomorrows production on track.
- Program set up and run HAAS CNC mills Okuma lathes and Laguna routers.
- Translate engineering drawings/blueprints into precision components.
- Create and edit programs using GCode and MCode; optimize feeds speeds and paths.
- Configure tooling fixtures and machine offsets for efficient throughput.
- Inspect parts with precision measuring equipment to verify tolerances.
- Hit production goals and support ontime customer deliveries.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks.
- Assist with material handling and general shop operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 23 years of CNC programming and setup experience (HAAS experience preferred).
- Solid command of GCode and MCode programming.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g. micrometers calipers gauges).
- Manual machining background is a plus.
