Job Summary
As a MuleSoft QA/Tester you will work with our growing DevSecOps & Salesforce practices delivering quality assurance services to support application cloud and data systems development. For this role integration testing experience with Mulesoft is required. This effort leverages Public Sector Foundation - Advanced (PSFA) and integrates systems using MuleSoft.
Responsibilities include:
- Executes detailed test scenarios forMuleSoft Integrations andSalesforce applications including functional regression and integration testing
- Logs defects validates fixes and ensures that the system meets the defined acceptance criteria before deployment.
- Meetswith product design team to determine testing parameters
- Writestest plans create test cases test procedures bug reports final QA reports for products
- Managestest data architecture with the Tech Lead
- Troubleshootserrors and streamline the test procedures
- Testsand examinescode written by others analyzing results including three or more of the following:
- Data validation testing
- Functional testing
- Performance and load testing
- Usability testing
- Accessibility (508) testing
- Establishesautomated testing tools and infrastructure for test automation
- Providesvalidation testing of different system and data sets for Salesforce
- Understandsthe needs of stakeholders and conveysthis to developers
- Improvesdevelopment testing deployment and release processes
- Ensuresthat systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Workswith software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Documentsas-is state of the environment performsa gap analysis and producesartifacts that articulate options and recommendations
- Workswith teams to bring continuous improvement to DevSecOps processes and tools
- Engineersand implementssolutions and providesrecommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided
- Presentsregular status updates and providescross training to other DevOps team members
- Must be able to maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Bachelors Degree required; equivalency offered
- 5 years of related experience in software/IT/cloud consulting
- Experience testing using the MuleSoft MUnit framework
- Experience with the Mulesoft PlatformPublic Sector Solutions (PSS) Salesforce Flows and OmniStudio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Experience with documenting an as-is state of the environment perform a gap analysis and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations preferred
Preferred
- Certifications a plus:
- CAST (Certified Associate in Software Testing)
- International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification
- Certified Manager of Software Testing (CMST)
- DHS Trusted Tester Certification (TTv5)
- DevSecOps Experience with actual/active development experience in an Agile environment
- Experience with performance and load testing
- Experience utilizing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes
- Experience implementing test automation using tools such as Selenium Appium Soap UI RestAssured Postman
- Experience integrating test automation including performance security and functional tests into CI/CD Pipelines
- Current or previous DHS CBP Clearance is preferred
Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary including but not limited to geographic location contractual requirements education knowledge skills competencies and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $90000 to $130000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
