MuleSoft Architect & Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Architect & Team Lead to lead the design development and optimization of our enterprise integration landscape. This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for driving the architecture administration and continuous improvement of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform with a strong focus on Salesforce-centric integrations and secure enterprise connectivity.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with proven leadership capabilities guiding a growing team of MuleSoft engineers while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable secure and high-performing integration solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape integration strategy establish best practices and ensure operational excellence across mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a growing team of MuleSoft engineers including coordinating work with offshore development teams and onshore stakeholders.
  • Define the technical roadmap for the MuleSoft platform driving continuous improvements scalability and innovation.
  • Design develop and maintain enterprise integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform across Salesforce APIs sFTP RPA and EDI solutions.
  • Architect and administer Salesforce integrations including Connected Apps OAuth Named Credentials API gateways and secure authentication.
  • Configure manage and optimize MuleSoft runtime environments while ensuring platform stability performance and high availability.
  • Provision and maintain secure sFTP environments including user administration SSH key management permissions and automated file transfer processes.
  • Develop and enforce integration governance security standards and platform best practices.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts lifecycle testing deployment automation and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Monitor APIs integrations and file transfer processes proactively identifying and resolving performance issues authentication failures network connectivity problems and latency concerns.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement resilient scalable solutions that improve platform reliability.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams using Agile methodologies to deliver enterprise integration solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation operational runbooks architecture diagrams integration inventories and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies governance standards audit requirements and regulatory guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 years of hands-on experience administering and developing on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams while mentoring developers and driving project delivery.
  • Strong experience designing and supporting Salesforce integrations and API configurations.
  • Hands-on expertise managing secure sFTP environments SSH key administration and automated file transfer solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPCs VPNs routing and firewall policies.
  • Experience with Git version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Deep knowledge of API security authentication protocols and integration governance.
  • Experience with logging monitoring troubleshooting and reliability engineering.
  • Strong technical documentation analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional and globally distributed teams.

Required Qualifications

  • MuleSoft Platform Architect or Administrator Certification.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder Certification.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and dbt.
  • Experience implementing enterprise integration architecture and governance frameworks.
