Job Summary

Penobscot Valley Hospital a critical access hospital in Lincoln Maine is seeking qualified MT or MLT for 13 week assignment. Must have graduated from an approved program; 3-12 hour shifts (after 1st week of training). Rotate weekends (usually every 5th weekend); no call; Fill in Thursday night shift and can pick up vacancies if not filled with regular staff; Microbiology preferred and if not gram stains planting cultures blood cultures a must. Must be proficient in phlebotomy. Must be able to do Blood Bank testing Will work holidays as needed (done on a rotating basis) Be proficient with Covid regulations (PPE isolation rooms etc) Must be able to multitask and prioritize. Ability to work alone. Must be able to communicate proficiently
