MT Hospice RN Days

Location: Hope Hospice CenterHours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM(Day Shift) Schedule: Dayshift .9 FTE (36hrs/week guaranteed) This shift will primarily be based in our inpatient unit with the potential to support in-home hospice visits as census Responsibilities:Patient Care & Symptom ManagementDeliver comprehensive nursing care to terminally ill patients with a focus on comfort and symptom medications and interventions per physician assess patient needs and ensure a dignified comfortable end-of-life & Delegation to CNAsProvide guidance and oversight to non-unionized CNAs to ensure quality personal care and adherence to patient care appropriate nursing support tasks (ADLs hygiene mobility) while ensuring safety and CNA documentation for accuracy and real-time feedback and mentorship in a respectful team-oriented CollaborationParticipate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) to care planning symptom management strategies and family with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient & Caregiver SupportProvide emotional support guidance and education to families and them navigate the physical and emotional challenges of end-of-life & ComplianceAccurately document nursing assessments interventions and all care aligns with regulatory and quality Control & SafetyFollow infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment for patients families and :RequiredCurrent RN license (Compact or Montana)Minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospice palliative care critical care or med-surgExperience working in a unionized healthcare environment (for RNs)Strong clinical judgment and communication skillsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
