Principal Accountabilities
- SAP and Inventory Management
- Verification of ingredients movements systematically as well as written documentation
- Collaborate with Operations on the initiation of corrective action and preventative measures when necessary
- Ensures adherence to Corporate Regulatory and facility food safety and quality requirements
- Stakeholder Development and Supervision
- In the absence of the supervisor oversees the hourly material handlers on shift and ensures quality production is being achieved
- Other projects
- Assisting the plant in various projects relating to Safety Food Safety Regulatory Environment Process Improvement Engagement Training etc
Required Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read write and speak English
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Microbiology Food Science Biology or other related field
- 5 Years previous food safety quality or food manufacturing experience
- Previous Cargill experience
- Work history in the past 12 months
- Bi-lingual (English Spanish)
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- General knowledge of HACCP
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
