Schedule:

  • Wednesday: 9:30 AM 8:00 PM

  • Thursday: 9:30 AM 8:00 PM

  • Friday: 9:30 AM 8:00 PM

  • Saturday: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM

  • 37.5 Hours Per Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety image quality and compliance with all departmental and regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI imaging procedures according to established protocols

  • Position patients and MRI coils to obtain optimal diagnostic images

  • Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and preparation requirements

  • Review MRI safety questionnaires prior to examinations

  • Ensure all images are properly labeled and transmitted to PACS

  • Evaluate image quality and technical acceptability

  • Complete and document studies in the Radiology Information System

  • Maintain MRI suite cleanliness and equipment readiness

  • Schedule examinations and update patient tracking information

  • Assist physicians during procedures as required

  • Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs

  • Follow MRI safety standards and infection control policies

  • Perform clerical and administrative duties when needed

  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved Radiologic Technology program

  • Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology

  • ARRT MRI Registry required

  • BCLS Certification required

  • Strong knowledge of MRI physics cross-sectional anatomy and physiology

  • Excellent technical communication and patient care skills
