As our MRI Technologist you will play a key role in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for while providing high-quality imaging to support diagnosis and treatment. You will operate MRI equipment to capture detailed images for physicians guide patients through the exam process answer questions and help ease concerns along the this role you will obtain patient histories and screening information maintain accurate records and help ensure the MRI equipment is functioning properly through routine quality assurance checks.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologists expectations and protocols.
- Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
- Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
- Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
- Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
- Uses standard precautions PPE at all times.
- Maintains regulatory compliance and licensure for current position.
Required Education for Staff Job Levels | Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology |
Preferred Education or Experience | Previous experience in MRI preferred. |
Required Licensure and Certifications | MRAD:KY; RTR or RTBD or RTCT or RTCV or RTM or RTN or RTQM or RTT or RTVI or RTVS BLS-CPR RTMR - within 12 months |
