MRI Technologist II Evenings

Hourly Pay Range:

Position Highlights:

• SIGN-ON BONUS: $5000

• Position: MRI Technologist II

• Location: Northwest Community Hospital Arlington Heights IL

• Part-Time 24 hours weekly

• Hours: Monday-Friday 3pm - 11:30pm on-call schedule rotating weekends & holidays

What you will do:

Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies according to Radiologists directions and established procedures. Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job being attentive of eye contact facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Preferred: A minimum of an Associates Degree or higher

• Required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certified

• Preferred: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure

• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

• Preferred: Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience

• Strong computer skills

• Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
