MRI Technologist Direct Hire

Location: Panama City FL

Employment Type: Permanent

Shift: Weekend Shift

• Friday: 10:00 AM 10:30 PM

• Saturday: 9:00 AM 9:30 PM

• Sunday: 9:00 AM 9:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.

• Operate MRI and radiographic equipment safely and effectively.

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

• Demonstrate knowledge of MRI anatomy pathology and imaging techniques.

• Process organize and maintain imaging records within PACS.

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications.

• Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare team members.

• Adhere to departmental regulatory and safety standards.

Preferred:

• 3 years of MRI experience.

• Experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging environment.

• Strong knowledge of MRI protocols and patient safety practices.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required.

• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist License.

• ARRT (R) Radiography Certification.

• ARRT (MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certification.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

• Ability to participate in on-call coverage as needed.
