The Diagnostic Imaging teams at Samaritan Health Services use state-of-the-art imaging technology while providing health care teams with the information needed for a fast accurate diagnosis. Imaging services include: X-Ray Fluoroscopy Bone Density CTScan Digital Mammography MRI Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound services. We now offer PET-CT scans the latest in diagnostic imaging technology and one of the most powerful imaging tools that physicians can use to help diagnose and treat patients with cancer and other diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking patient medical histories
  
• Answering questions about the procedure
  
• Positioning patients according to established protocols
  
• Adjusting equipment as needed to produce high-quality images
  
• Evaluating images to make sure they meet the ordering providers requirements
  
• Entering data into electronic medical records
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

• Must have a minimum of 1 year Diagnostic Imaging
  
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
  
• Must have current ARRT(MRI) or equivalent credential.
  
• Radiography background with ARRT RT(R) credential preferred.
  
• Must have current unencumbered Oregon license in MRI required.
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Effective team skills including interaction support and respect are required.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills professionalism and reliability
  
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents completing forms opening and sending e-mail messages.
