About this Position
The MRI Technologistwill performstandard clinical and advanced research magnetic resonance imaging. These responsibilities include patientassistanceand positioning in the scanner and collection of imaging data according to standard protocols both with and without MR contrast agents.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical
- Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Experience with operation of MR scanner and peripheral instrumentation(e.g. contrast injector GFR measurement etc.)
At least 5 yearsexperience as an MRI Technologistperforming clinical diagnostic imaging
Certifications Registrations and/or Licenses:
- Certified and Registered in Magnetic Resonance Imagingfrom eitherARRTorARMRIT.
Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
- Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills in English
- Experience with pediatric imaging as the Center will have a particular focus on research imaging in infants and children
- Experience with a Siemens platform is preferable.
- More than 7 yearsexperience as an MRI Technologistperforming clinical diagnostic imaging
Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
- Excellent initiativeindependenceand problem-solving skills.
