Job Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced MRI / Radiology / Cardiology Technologist for a contract assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures ensure patient safety and support physicians in obtaining high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI and/or radiology imaging procedures as per department protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging studies
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively
  • Ensure patient safety comfort and proper screening before procedures
  • Review and verify imaging quality and technical accuracy
  • Maintain proper documentation and imaging records
  • Transfer images to PACS and ensure timely reporting
  • Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions
  • Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare teams
  • Assist in maintaining workflow efficiency in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of MRI / Radiology / Cardiology imaging experience
  • Strong knowledge of imaging procedures and patient positioning
  • Ability to work in an acute care hospital setting
  • Experience with PACS preferred
  • Strong communication and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
