The Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the MQ-25 program inPatuxent River Maryland.

Position Overview:We are looking for an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in airplane subsystems final assembly and/or ramp experience with the ability to work this role you will be instrumental in supporting the needs of an integrated test team for an autonomous development program.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement manufacturing processes and provide quick response for the air vehicle needs.

  • Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks optimizing workflows and enhancing operational efficiency.

  • Support operations by streamlining processes improving quality and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

  • Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.

  • May require travel to Mascoutah IL

  • Integrated test need is dynamic and may require schedule flexibility to support emergent needs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 5 years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Experience with Final Assembly and / or Ramp Operations

  • Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers

  • Experience with 3Dmodel-basedinstruction

  • Experience with Teamcenter and VisMockup

  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)

  • Experience reviewing and approving other engineers work (installation plans tool orders line stock checks etc.)

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.
