Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check and MVR check
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• At least 1 year of background and formal experience in lake/pond maintenance landscaping commercial mowing turf management pesticide application
• Ability to lift to 80 pounds on a routine basis
• Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to work around bees poison ivy pollen thorns and other environmental risks.
• Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to motivate others
• Must comply with Dragonflys policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the field supervisor
• Manage the maintenance of lakes and ponds & other Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs).
• Mowing weed-eating and string trimming slopes and basins of ponds
• Concrete work mixing bags of concrete by hand mixing buckets of grout
• Stabilization includes carrying and rolling out erosion control matting spreading seed and wheat straw by hand
• Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
• Perform work in waders and muck boots
• Collection of company-owned equipment and tools at the end of the day.
• May be asked to help in other divisions such as inspection repair as needed.

Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment:

• Mowers - Stand on walk behind Ventrac
• Edgers string trimmers and chain saws
• Backpack blowers and sprayers
• Hand tools such as shovels picks rakes tree chipper and pruning tools.
