Pay: $20- $25 an hour- Full-time

Requirements

• Experience: 2 years in lake/pond maintenance landscaping commercial mowing turf management or erosion control.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds on a routine basis.
• Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis.
• Ability to work on slopes near water and in various weather conditions.
• Results-driven with strong attention to detail.
• Must comply with Dragonflys policies and procedures.
• Great communication skills and ability to interact with multiple audiences including but not limited to the Operations Team subcontractors vendors and others.
• Team-oriented and aligned with Dragonflys values: Quality Focus Takes Ownership and Growth Oriented.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the Operations Manager
• Manage the maintenance of lakes and ponds & other Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs).
• Mowing weed-eating and string trimming slopes and basins of ponds
• Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
• Schedule and monitor daily workloads
• Plan coordinate and collect equipment and materials each day.
• Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings.
• Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company.
• Safe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members.
• Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients contractors and/or subcontractors.

Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment:

• Mowers - Stand on walk behind Ventrac.
• Edgers string trimmers and chain saws
• Backpack blowers and sprayers
• Hand tools such as shovels picks rakes and pruning tools.
