Moving Help Agent Remote (Part Time)

U-Haul is looking for an organized friendly and motivatedpart timecall center representative who can workremotely!A Moving HelpSpecialist supports customers in a high-volume call center environmentviaphonechatand email with a focus on either phone orchat.This position entails helping customers book edit reschedule and/or cancel Moving Help services as wellasresolving customer concerns do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers.

Customer Support Specialist Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a positive empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

• Responding promptly to customer inquiries.

• Communicating with customers through phone callschats and emails.

• Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.

• Processing rebooking andmodifyingorders.

• Keeping records of customer interactions transactions comments and complaints.

• Communicating and coordinating with colleagues andsupervisorsasnecessary.

• Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.

• Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability toremaincalm when customers are stressed or upset whileexpressingsympathyempathyand compassion

• Intermediate keyboarding and computer skills

• Ability to navigate and use multiple computer programs at once

• Active and attentive listening

• Experience working with customer support

Compensation:

U-Haul offerspart timeMoving Help Specialistsan hourly basepayof $15.00when working remotely. Your base paymayincrease asyou learn andacquireadditionaljob duties and merit increases are given periodically based on performance.Note: Hourly base wage may be higher depending on state or local minimum wagelaws.

Scheduling Requirements:

The Moving Help team is available to assist customers from 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM via phone and from 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM via chat.

• Part Time:Must be available at least30 hoursper week(the total number of hours scheduled each week will be based on business needs)

• Must be available to workat least one weekend day per week either Saturday or Sunday(some shifts require both weekend days)

• Currently shifts are available Monday through Sunday between 6:00 AM 4:00 PM (Arizona time)

• Initial Education/Training hours: Monday throughThursday from8:30 AM 5:00 PMand Friday from 6:00 AM 2:30 PM(Arizona time) for two weeksbeginning Monday 6/8.

• Working holidaysisin order toprovide support for our customers year-round. You may be scheduled to meet the Team and business needs.

Shifts Available:

A note about how we schedule: Preferences to work that aligns with the business need may increase the opportunity to bescheduledmore hours. However if preferences to work do not align with the needs of thebusinessthe result may belesshours scheduled.

Work From Home Requirements:

• All work duties including initialeducation must be performed from your home address in a private quiet workspace.

• Child-care and/or dependent arrangements must be made as if you were working in-person in an office environment. This position does not allow flexibility to be on-callcarefor others during work hours either.

• A personal home computer that meets the technical requirements (listed below) is necessary for both the application process and for performing job duties.

Physical Demands:

The work involves light physical exertion including sitting forlong periods focusing on a computer screen and taking phone calls using a wired headset.
