Job Summary/Description:

We are looking for a creative detail-oriented Motion Graphics Artist to support our newsrooms daily and long-term visual storytelling. This position will be responsible for creating compelling motion graphics for newscasts digital platforms and special coverage while also helping edit and refine headlines for daily newscasts.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Create motion graphics animations opens transitions explainer graphics maps charts and other visual elements for newsroom content.
- Build graphics for daily newscasts breaking news severe weather coverage investigations elections sports and special projects.
- Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Work closely with producers anchors reporters photographers digital teams and newsroom managers to support daily coverage.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Experience creating motion graphics animations or video graphics for broadcast digital social or related media.
- Excellent attention to detail especially with spelling grammar names locations and facts.
- Ability to work well under deadline pressure.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects Premiere Pro Photoshop Illustrator or similar creative software.
