Job Summary
There is currently an urgent need for a Mortgage Loan Officer with extensive experience originating and processing mortgage loans to join a stable organization on a full-time basis. Job Description:
Originate first mortgage loans by establishing relationships with 3rd parties such as Relators Builders Financial Professionals and the general public within a designated territory surrounding credit union offices.
Respond to cold calls follow-up leads and respond to all clients inquires by telephone face-to-face and the internet for appointments outside of normal credit union business hours.
Will be available by phone or in person to help members in the branch office when the credit union or home office refers him to her.
Review approved and declined loan applications.
Will help the credit union maximize loan opportunities and let them know if a different product may be available to the member.
Establish outside referral sources and look for opportunities to bring those relationships into the branch.
All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration
- Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have extensive mortgage consulting experience in the loan servicing industry
- Licensed in the state of MA and be licensed through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
- 3 years of successful experience originating processing or underwriting residential 1-4 family mortgages to the Findings of Loan Prospector Desktop Underwriter or other proprietary automated underwriting system.
- 3 years outside sales experience preferably in the mortgage sales.
- Experience working with Credit Unions preferred but not required.
