Molding Production Supervisor

90k 4 day work week 10% bonus all shifts available

We are seeking a Production Mold Supervisor with expertise in ductile iron molding to oversee operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safety quality and production targets are met while driving operational excellence through continuous improvement strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills experience in industrial production and a commitment to fostering a productive team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise union production personnel ensuring safe and efficient operations in the Foundry Finishing area during assigned shifts.
• Develop and oversee daily and weekly shift work plans including staffing and production schedules to meet operational targets.
• Monitor production performance addressing any quality or efficiency concerns and promptly reporting significant issues to management.
• Ensure adequate staffing training and development for key operational areas to maintain productivity and minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality and safety reviews in alignment with ISO-9001:2015 standards identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Work collaboratively with Human Resources and leadership to effectively navigate union contract requirements while maintaining productivity and workplace harmony.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma required; a Bachelors degree in a technical field is preferred. Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in industrial production within a high-volume environment. Experience in ductile iron molding and a union setting is preferred.
• Strong leadership problem-solving and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A proactive work ethic with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
