Mold Storage Technician

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Pull preventive maintenance on molds and tooling.
• Be able to change out components on ejection plastic molds.
• Ability to use polishing stones and part washers.
• Ability to drive lift truck.
• Able to use Voltmeter and shop equipment.
• Able to use the overhead crane to move molds and components.
• Able to disassemble and reassemble molds etc.
• Must be able to identify tool damage and make minor repairs with assistance from toolmakers.
• Adherence to all-appropriate safety practices and procedures.
• Works closely with Lead and Senior Techs.
• Supports the established Quality Policy
• Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual directives and work instructions.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

• High school graduate GED or equivalent
• Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely.
• Strong math skills

Good team worker

• Computer literate
• Strong math skills
• Mechanical skills
• Ability to use shop equipment.

• Knowledgeable of safety health environmental and HR regulations as well as policies and practices

Physical Requirements:

• Walking frequently4-5 hrs.
• Standing 7 hrs.
• Climbing occasionally
• Squatting/Stooping occasionally
• Reaching occasionally

• Lifting - up to 25# frequently
• Lifting 25# and over with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift)

Safety Requirements:

• The employee is responsible to comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures.
