Job Summary
Basic Position Duties
Assemble/disassemble molds following applicable work instructions and blueprints.
- Perform overhauls (Preventative Maintenance); Parts fitting and shape mold components in accordance to training guidelines and understand parts mating position and function.
- Perform quality assurance check on all fabricated tooling.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Prepare required documentation (i.e. tooling work orders quality inspection reports etc.)
- Insure proper verbal/written communication with other departments in regard to mold activities.
- Perform all job duties per OSHA guidelines safety rules and housekeeping requirements and insure other maintenance associates follow the proper guidelines rules and requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Two Year Machine Tool Technology degree or 1-3 years on the job experience with injection mold maintenance. Must possess fine motor skills for handling delicate components and be able to perform frequent pushing pulling lifting and carrying; must possess excellent oral & written communication skills. Must be willing to learn and be able to work at a fast pace.
