Sentara is currently hiring a Mobility Tech to work at Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk on the Post Op Recovery Unit.
Hours/Shift:
Part time 9am-5pm two to three days a week.
Department/Position Overview:
We are looking for candidates with compassion and great communication skills to work in this fast-paced environment with our most critical patients.
The Mobility Technician is responsible for assisting clinical staff and members of the interprofessional healthcare team as assigned under the direct supervision of clinical staff within inpatient setting. This position performs delegated activities that include but are not limited to patient mobility infection control processes assisting patients in practicing exercises or functional activities transporting patients to and from treatment areas inspecting and maintaining equipment and a variety of basic clerical functions supporting clinical staff in successful provision of treatment plans.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification/Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.75 - $27.81 hourly.
