Mobile Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to multiple client locations to perform preventive maintenance inspections troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Execute scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a variety of industrial equipment including conveyors pumps motors gearboxes hydraulic systems pneumatic systems and production machinery.
- Support planned equipment shutdowns outages and startup activities to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance work.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and unplanned equipment failures to minimize client downtime and restore operations.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential failures wear conditions and opportunities for reliability improvements.
- Disassemble repair replace and reassemble mechanical components as needed.
- Perform alignment lubrication belt replacement bearing replacement and other routine maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals blueprints mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Utilize hand tools power tools precision measuring instruments and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records work orders and service documentation.
- Communicate equipment conditions maintenance recommendations and repair status to clients and management.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards company policies and client requirements.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) machine guarding confined space and other applicable safety procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent C&W Services positively at client locations.
- Participate in overtime on-call assignments weekend work and emergency response activities as required.
- Maintain company vehicle tools and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance mechanical technology or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing distribution processing or production environments.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience involving industrial equipment and machinery.
- Working knowledge of:
- Conveyors and material handling equipment
- Bearings belts chains and sprockets
- Pumps motors and gearboxes
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Mechanical power transmission systems
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections independently.
- Experience supporting equipment shutdowns maintenance outages and emergency repair situations.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings blueprints equipment manuals and technical documentation.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools power tools precision measurement tools and maintenance equipment.
- Working knowledge of industrial safety practices including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Strong communication organizational and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assignments across multiple client locations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work in industrial environments.
- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel locally between customer sites on a daily basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance Mechanical Technology Mechatronics or a related field.
- Experience working within manufacturing distribution logistics food processing or heavy industrial facilities.
- Welding fabrication and rigging experience.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies vibration analysis or equipment reliability programs.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $34.00 - $40.00
