Mobile HVAC Engineer Austin TX Area

Are you an experienced HVAC professional looking for a role that offers independence variety and the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial facilities We are seeking a skilled Mobile HVAC Engineer to join our growing team supporting clients throughout the Austin area.

This is a field-based position where youll work from a company-provided service vehicle traveling directly from home to assigned sites each day. Youll support approximately 100-150 commercial locations across a portfolio of 40 clients with dispatching designed to keep assignments as close to your home area as possible.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

This position includes an on-call rotation. Most after-hours support is handled by phone and if youre available to assist youll provide guidance or respond as needed.

What Youll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Diagnose and repair rooftop units split systems package units refrigeration equipment and related controls

• Handle light electrical and light plumbing repairs as needed

• Inspect maintain and repair building systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

• Complete building repairs including lighting fixtures flooring walls and other facility components

• Respond to service requests and work orders while providing excellent customer service

• Update work orders in real time using CMMS systems such as Corrigo

• Conduct facility inspections and identify opportunities to improve reliability and performance

• Maintain accurate service records and submit required documentation daily

What Were Looking For

• Universal EPA/CFC Certification required

• Minimum 4 years of commercial building maintenance or HVAC/R experience

• Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC refrigeration electrical and plumbing systems

• Experience with commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration systems preferred

• Working knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems

• Experience using CMMS or work order management systems

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

• High School Diploma or GED required
