Are you an experienced HVAC professional looking for a role that offers independence variety and the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial facilities We are seeking a skilled Mobile HVAC Engineer to join our growing team supporting clients throughout the Austin area.
This is a field-based position where youll work from a company-provided service vehicle traveling directly from home to assigned sites each day. Youll support approximately 100-150 commercial locations across a portfolio of 40 clients with dispatching designed to keep assignments as close to your home area as possible.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
This position includes an on-call rotation. Most after-hours support is handled by phone and if youre available to assist youll provide guidance or respond as needed.
What Youll Do
Perform preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
Diagnose and repair rooftop units split systems package units refrigeration equipment and related controls
Handle light electrical and light plumbing repairs as needed
Inspect maintain and repair building systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Complete building repairs including lighting fixtures flooring walls and other facility components
Respond to service requests and work orders while providing excellent customer service
Update work orders in real time using CMMS systems such as Corrigo
Conduct facility inspections and identify opportunities to improve reliability and performance
Maintain accurate service records and submit required documentation daily
What Were Looking For
Universal EPA/CFC Certification required
Minimum 4 years of commercial building maintenance or HVAC/R experience
Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC refrigeration electrical and plumbing systems
Experience with commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration systems preferred
Working knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems
Experience using CMMS or work order management systems
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
High School Diploma or GED required
