Mobile Equipment Operator 1-2

The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical behavioral and psychiatric support needs.

Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated Mobile Equipment Operator 1-2to join our dynamic team.

No experience or training is required.

Job Duties:

• Independently use and operate a 2 ton box truck with heavy duty lift.
• Maneuver box truck into and out of small areas very frequently.
• Picks up dirty linen from all individuals homes (approximately 40 homes) and Medical Complex daily.
• Delivers dirty linen to Housekeeping on PSSC grounds.
• Unloads dirty linen into carts for pick up from contract provider daily. Distributes clean linen to all homes and Medical Complex daily.
• Work every other Sunday to pick up dirty linen from all homes and medical complex.
• Cleans and disinfects cargo area of box/laundry truck to ensure safe and sanitary conditions.
• Performs vehicle maintenance; checks fluid levels lights and tire pressures.
• Refuels vehicle and reports any mechanical problems to the Maintenance Department.
• Keeps a daily Vehicle Maintenance Log and submit it to Property Control on a monthly basis.

Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Probation Promotion Demotion Lateral Transfer Detail to Special Duty or Job Appointment
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pass Days: Saturday and Sunday
Compensation:

Mobile Equipment Operator 1: $16.06/hour - $28.90/hour

Mobile Equipment Operator 2: $17.18/hour - $30.92/hour
