Mobile Engineer – Commercial Facilities

Location: North Shore Region of Massachusetts
Pay: $44.00$48.00 per Hour
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:30 AM 4:30 PM

Are you an experienced building engineer or maintenance professional looking for a role where your expertise truly makes an impact We are seeking a Mobile Engineer to support 1012 commercial facilities throughout the North Shore region of Massachusetts.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical building operations background excellent HVAC troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems. If you enjoy solving problems working independently and maintaining critical building infrastructure this is an outstanding opportunity.

• Travel between multiple commercial facilities performing maintenance inspections and repairs

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC mechanical electrical plumbing structural and life safety systems

• Perform preventive maintenance including inspections cleaning calibration and equipment adjustments

• Monitor building systems and ensure optimal equipment performance

• Maintain facility operations through inventory control purchasing support and contractor coordination

• Record equipment readings and complete maintenance documentation

• Monitor outside vendor work to ensure quality workmanship and compliance

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures and hazardous material policies

• Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions before problems occur

• 10 years of commercial building maintenance or mechanical operations experience

• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience

• Basic electrical and plumbing repair skills

• Experience maintaining commercial mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems

• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment independently

• EPA 608 Type II Certification required

• Valid drivers license required

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• EPA 608 Universal Certification

• CFC Certification

• Refrigeration License preferred

• Technical or trade school education in HVAC refrigeration or electrical systems

• Competitive pay of $44.00$48.00 per hour

• Monday through Friday schedule with daytime hours
