This is NOT remote or hybrid. Work is performed primarily at customer locations using a company service vehicle.

About the Role

OTC Fleet Services is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician to support our growing fleet customer base across Lancaster York and Berks County.

This role is focused on consistent fleet work not random retail jobs. Youll be working independently in the field diagnosing and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles and equipment.

You will report directly to our Field Operations Manager (Joe) and be part of a structured fast-growing mobile service division.

What Youll Be Doing

Diagnose and repair (including but not limited to):

• Diesel gas and LP-powered vehicles
• Medium & heavy-duty trucks (including Class 8)
• Equipment and fleet vehicles (including 648 volt systems)

Perform:

• Preventative maintenance (PMs)
• Advanced diagnostics (electrical REQUIRED)
• Hydraulic repairs
• Breakdown and roadside service
• Complete work orders using company-provided tablet/software (Fullbay)
• Maintain a clean organized service vehicle and work environment
• Deliver high-quality efficient work for fleet customers

Schedule & Workload

• Average 810 hour workdays
• 4550 hours/week available based on productivity
• Overtime available
• Primarily day shift
• No second or third shift
• Minimal on-call (rare and limited)

Compensation

• $30$40/hour (based on experience)
• Overtime available
• Additional pay bumps for:
  • CDL
  • State Inspection License
  • Snow equipment experience

What Were Looking For

• Strong diagnostic ability (this is not an entry-level role)
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (REQUIRED)
• Ability to work independently and self-manage
• Comfortable working in mobile/on-site environments
• Takes pride in quality work and productivity
• Maintains a clean and organized service truck

Requirements

• 5 years experience as a technician
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical
• Must provide own hand tools
• Strong experience with diesel gas and/or equipment repair
• State Inspection License (preferred or required based on role)

Preferred (Not Required)

• CDL (pay increase available)
• Welding / fabrication experience
• Experience with heavy equipment or hydraulic systems
