Mobile Building Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary
Were looking for a hands-on Mobile Maintenance Mechanic who thrives in a fast-moving on-the-go this role youll be responsible for keeping multiple facilities running smoothly by performing mechanical electrical plumbing and general building maintenance tasks across your assigned portfolio.
Youll work independently in the field supported by a responsive operations team ensuring spaces are safe functional and ready for daily use.
Your work will be varied mobile and never boring. Youll:
- Maintain and repair lighting systems including bulbs and ballasts
- Support building operations teams with equipment maintenance and repairs
- Handle general interior upkeep (hanging pictures installing fixtures repairing office furniture systems)
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
- Complete special maintenance tasks such as painting locksmith work and tenant service requests
- Move furniture equipment and materials as needed across sites
- Conduct routine facility inspections and document conditions impacting operations
- Identify safety risks and recommend practical solutions to eliminate hazards
- Support compliance with local codes ordinances and safety regulations
- Maintain clean safe and organized work environments at all times
- Complete maintenance documentation and track materials used
- Participate in ongoing technical and safety training
- Be available for on-call emergency response after hours
- 3 years of general building maintenance experience (mechanical electrical and basic plumbing)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across building systems and equipment
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload across multiple sites
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
- Comfortable working on ladders up to 30 ft
- Frequent standing climbing bending kneeling and lifting
- Willingness to drive long distances within assigned territory
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written in English)
- Completion of a technical or trade training program
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or multi-site property support
- Familiarity with safety compliance programs and hazardous material handling
- On-call and overtime opportunities as needed
- Background drug/alcohol and motor vehicle record screening required
- A dynamic field role where no two days are the same
