Rod Baker Ford in Plainfield has an opening for a skilled Automotive Technician working 2pm-10pm in our state of the art mobile service unit.

Schedule
- Monday - Friday 2pm 10pm with a 1 hour lunch break

Responsibilities
- This is a customer facing position requiring you to complete off site diags & repairs
- Use dealer DMS & OEM diagnostic tools to complete repair orders
- Maintain mobile truck cleanliness & inventory to ensure effectiveness in the field
- Maintain OEM training certifications
- Maintain an inspection & upsell process refer work to shop that cannot be completed in the field
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems of vehicles
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Willingness to abide by all safety protocol put in place by employer
- Ability to communicate professionally & effectively with customers
Experience:
- Automotive Technician: 4 years (Required)
- Dealership: 2 years or more (Preferred)
- Diesel Repair: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Drivers License (Required)
